Q. How long does it take to receive my order?
A. Most orders are shipped within 48 hours via Priority Mail.
Orders can also be shipped Next Day Air for rush delivery at additional cost.
Q. Can I order an Eyelady item and have it shipped as a gift to a friend?
A. Absolutely. We will send your friend the gift you chose with no invoice enclosed, and mail or fax you a separate invoice.
Q. How do I know what power I need?
A. To determine the most effective reading power for your glasses, refer to the EYE CHART on the upper menu of the opening page of this web site. A good "rule of thumb" is to avoid lenses that are too strong. When choosing between two lens strengths which seem to both work for you, choose the weaker of the two.
Q. How do I care for my reading glasses or sunglasses?
A. When not in use, always store your glasses in the pouch which is provided with your order. Never place your glasses face down on any surface which is liable to scratch the lenses. Clean the lenses using a soft, non abrasive cloth.
Q. Can I adjust the fit of my glasses if they become loose ?
A. The Eyelady sells only optical quality eyewear. This means that glasses may be adjusted by any qualified optical professional. We do not recommend that you "adjust" your own eyewear.
Q. I saw a friend wearing a Melissa Eyewear style or color that I cannot find on your website. How can I order it?
A. You can order any Melissa Eyewear reader, sunglass or accessory from Eyelady.com by taking the following steps:
Q. I received my order and I am not completely satisfied. What can I do?
A. The following is our return policy:
If you are not completely satisfied, return your reading glasses within 14 days of our original shipping date. You may exchange them for a different strength or color.
To recieve a refund of the purchase price, less 15% re-stocking fee, items must be returned in their original packaging, in new condition. Shipping charge is not refundable.
